Cookies & Consent
This site holds every advertising cookie denied until you tell it otherwise.
Yufemayi is a brand studio in Austin, Texas, and this page is where the storage running behind that studio's site is written down plainly. Effective 7 September 2026. Read it beside the margin notes; each one carries the date, the retention clock or the cross-reference that belongs to the paragraph next to it.
01 — Effective dateThis notice took effect 7 September 2026
Everything below describes the storage and the advertising measurement running on yufemayi.com from that date forward. If we change how a platform is wired in, the date at the top of this page moves and the change is described under Your Choice, below.
02 — CategoriesThree categories of storage run here, not one blanket kind
Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working — it remembers your consent choice and, if you open the chat widget, keeps that conversation attached to you. It runs regardless of what you choose, because without it the site cannot function.
Analytics storage tells us which pages get read and which ones get abandoned, in aggregate. It only fires once you allow it.
Advertising storage is what Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and — where a campaign is live there — Meta Ads use to tie a paid click to a later visit. It also only fires once you allow it, and is switched back off the moment you decline.
03 — The tableSix storage keys account for everything this site sets
This is the complete list. Nothing else is written to your browser by this site.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
site_consent_v2 | Yufemayi (this site) | Stores your storage choice so the banner does not ask twice | 12 months |
| chat session token | Yufemayi (this site) | Keeps a support chat conversation attached to you if you close and reopen it | 12 months, matching the chat transcript retention |
gclid linked storage | Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC | Attaches a Google Ads click to a later visit once ad_storage is allowed | Set by Google, see policies.google.com |
msclkid linked storage | Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd | Attaches a Microsoft Advertising click once ad_storage is allowed | Set by Microsoft, see privacy.microsoft.com |
fbclid linked storage | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Attaches a Meta Ads click, where a campaign is running there, once ad_storage is allowed | Set by Meta |
| Analytics storage | Google LLC | Counts visits and page paths in aggregate once analytics_storage is allowed | Set by Google, see policies.google.com |
04 — Ad platformsGoogle Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads run traffic to this site
Google Ads sends paid clicks here and attaches gclid to the landing URL so a later inquiry can be traced back to the ad that caused it. Microsoft Advertising does the same with msclkid. Where a campaign is running on Meta, Meta Ads attaches fbclid. None of this happens without your allowance, and none of it means a platform has reviewed or vetted this site — it means an ad on that platform pointed here.
05 — Consent Mode v2Four signals sit behind everything above, and they start denied
This site runs Google's Consent Mode v2. Four signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — start in a denied state on every visit, before you have made a choice. Nothing tied to advertising or measurement fires while they are denied. Allowing storage in the banner sets all four to granted for the platforms that use them; declining sets them back to denied, and they stay denied until you change your mind.
06 — Your choiceThe banner asks once, and the footer lets you change it any time
The first time you load a page, a bar at the bottom offers Allow storage or Decline. Whichever you pick is written to site_consent_v2 in your browser and held for 12 months. To change it later, use "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page — that reopens the same choice and overwrites the stored value immediately. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal (Sec-GPC), we treat that as a decline automatically and do not ask again.
07 — If you declineThe site still works; the measurement side does not
Decline and the page renders exactly the same, the estimator on the services page still runs its arithmetic, and the inquiry form still submits. What stops is anything downstream of the four consent signals: no advertising storage is written, no click identifier is matched to a later visit, and no analytics event is counted. Strictly necessary storage — your consent record and, if you use it, your chat token — keeps running regardless, because the site cannot remember your choice without remembering something.
08 — Their own policiesEach platform explains its own handling separately from this page
This page describes what happens on yufemayi.com. What Google, Microsoft and Meta do with data once it reaches them is set out in their own documents: Google's practices are described at policies.google.com, and Microsoft's at privacy.microsoft.com. Reading this notice is not a substitute for reading theirs if a platform's own handling is what you're asking about.
09 — QuestionsAsk about a specific cookie directly, not through a form
Write to office@yufemayi.com or call +1 (783) 555-7514 if you want to know what a particular storage key did on a particular visit. This is a one-person studio plus one part-time production hand — questions get a direct answer, not a ticket number.
