Services

Logo design, a visual identity system and brand consultation, scoped tight for Austin small businesses.

Four things, run by one small studio: a logo mark, the visual identity system that sits around it, single-purpose project pages, and a paid consultation session for identities we did not build. This brand identity consultant in Austin does not run five services badly. It runs four, on purpose.

Logo Mark

$900–$1,400 flat

This is where most logo design in Austin goes wrong: forty directions, a client picking by committee, and a mark nobody can draw from memory by round three. We show two directions, not five, and we refine one of them into the mark that ships. The flat starting fee covers both concept rounds and the two included revision passes on the chosen direction.

Delivery is vector outlines — Illustrator, EPS and SVG — never a PNG pulled out of a design tool at the last minute. A spec sheet ships with it: exact hex, Pantone and CMYK values, minimum size, and the clear space around the mark. If the type pairing inside it doesn't hold up typed plain in Word, we didn't do our job, and we'll say so before you approve it.

Visual Identity System

$700–$1,100 plus per-application setup

This is the visual identity work an Austin studio should be doing after the mark: a type pairing chosen to hold up on a screen and on a letterpress card alike, a colour system with real values, and a guideline document nine to fourteen pages long. Not sixty. Nobody on a five-person team opens a sixty-page binder, and we'd rather build one that gets used.

The system gets applied across five core pieces — business card, letterhead, a social template set, an email signature and one signage or packaging application, chosen to match the business. Foil stamping and letterpress printing are quoted separately at what they actually cost, not folded quietly into the identity fee. If you don't want foil, you don't pay for it.

Project Pages

$220–$340 per page, flat

Project page design for a small business is not a full site rebuild, and we don't sell it as one. This is a single-purpose page — a launch announcement, a seasonal menu, a booking link with a photo and a phone number — built plain in HTML, fast to load, and easy to hand to whoever maintains the site after us. It sits under an existing domain or a subdomain, it doesn't touch the rest of the site's structure, and it doesn't need a content system to update later.

Each page is priced flat, not by the hour, because the scope is fixed before we start: one purpose, one call to action, one owner who approves it. Six pages is the practical ceiling in a single engagement; past that we're building a site, and that's a different conversation we'll have honestly rather than stretch this service to cover it.

Visual Consultation

Per ninety-minute session

A brand consultation session in Austin, for people who already have an identity and need someone outside their own head to say what's not working. Bring what you have — logo files, a business card, a menu, a website screenshot — and we go through it line by line, on paper, with a highlighter and notes in the margin. No new mark gets drawn in the session; this is diagnosis, not a redesign disguised as a chat.

You leave with the marked-up sheet and a written follow-up: what to fix first, what to leave alone, and a rough sense of whether the fix is a logo mark, a full identity system, or just new project pages. Several consultation clients move into a Logo Mark or Visual Identity System engagement afterward; some don't, and that's a fine outcome for a ninety-minute session.

What the estimator will not tell you

It won't tell you a Pantone match will look identical on every printer's stock, because it won't — paper absorbs foil and ink differently, and we test before a full run. It won't quote foil stamping or letterpress, because those are priced per job against the plate size and the press minimum, not a flat add. And it won't book you a slot: with four projects running at a time, the number you see here is a planning range for the call, not a place in the queue.

Ask about any of the four services directly, or read how a project actually runs on the process page, then bring your numbers to the contact form.
